When you wake up in the morning, your senses are waking up too. Amidst this, if you bombard your mind with the use of mobile phones and laptops, checking your emails and surfing social media, it will not let your mind cope up and will immediately drain your energy levels even before the day has begun.

Here are 4 of my favorite reasons to meditate which will help you change the way you live.

Meditation helps us focus on our breathing, the mind starts concentrating on our breaths. From inhaling to exhaling, our mind is constantly attached to this process.
This will in turn help us get rid of all the stresses that we are facing.

Anxiety is a feeling of fear of what’s about to come. Anxiety is your body’s direct response to stress. Lesser the stress, lesser the anxiety.
Mindful meditation can help reduce symptoms of anxiety such as social anxiety, paranoia, phobias, and panic attacks.
3. Enhances self-awareness
It is a key element when it comes to self development. Meditation can help develop a stronger understanding of yourself and make you work towards your goals.
Meditation helps you know yourself in the best possible manner. When a person knows himself very well, he will know his strengths and weaknesses and can work towards bettering them.
4. Controls blood pressure
If we are stressed, our heart will exert immense pressure and in order to balance it, it will have to pump more blood which will in turn lead to higher blood pressures.

When you wake up in the morning, your blood sugar levels are down. Hence, you require a nutrient rich breakfast to kick start your metabolism. In order to get the maximum out of your breakfast, try to have it within the first 2 hours of you waking up.
Having a morning breakfast can keep your arteries in check and thus keep your heart fully functional and healthy.
These three strong benefits are enough for you to decide if you want to skip your breakfast or don’t.

Well, the obvious reason is it helps digest your food. Taking a walk for only 10 minutes can help break down the food that you have eaten. It immediately starts working for your body once it is broken and supplies energy. Walking after having food can prevent problems such as indigestion and heartburn which can prove to be a very healthy habit.
Taking a walk right after your lunch or dinner not only helps you with proper digestion but also improves blood circulation. Since walking ensures proper supply of oxygen and nutrients to the hearth which will in turn cause better blood circulation.

Subsequently. after a long day, having drained all your energy exhausting yourself, you need to settle your mind and body.
Now is the time when your mind needs to relax and be at peace within itself and gather all the thoughts again. In this process, you do not want your mind to lose concentration with the use of an electronic gadget.
